Mysterious Creatures Overrun Darkwater Lake

In a turn of events that sounds straight out of a B-movie horror flick, the once-peaceful town of Darkwater Lake has been besieged by unknown creatures.

The local residents, showing the speed and agility of Olympic sprinters, have mostly evacuated the area, leaving behind a ghost town that even the ghosts are probably too scared to haunt.

Eyewitnesses describe the invaders as grotesque, possibly the result of a botched science experiment or the world's ugliest Halloween costumes come to life.

Mayor Johnson was last seen running towards the hills with his cat, Mr. Whiskers, under one arm, and issued a statement via a hastily scribbled note left on his front door: "The town is closed for the foreseeable future. Please do not feed the creatures.".

The town's iconic lighthouse continues to blink forlornly across the foggy lake, seemingly unaware of the bedlam unfolding beneath its steadfast beam.

Despite the chaos, there's an eerie sense of calm. For those brave enough to stay — or foolish enough to return — remember the town's new motto: "Darkwater Lake — Where the unknown is known to surprise you!".

Stay tuned for more updates, if there are any survivors left to report them.

P.S. The creatures are afraid of glowsticks. Yes, you read that right. So, if you find yourself face-to-face with one of these horrors, just crack a glowstick and pretend you're at a rave. It might save your life, and at the very least, you'll die with style.

I'd be happy to buy a game but without any video footage, I'll give it a pass. If you charge for a product then give the potential purchaser something other than JPEGs.
